At the time of brochure printing and publication, Dr. Henry Lee was the key speaker for the SELETS Seminar, May 31 - June 3, 2010. Since publication, Dr. Lee advised he has been subpoenaed to testify in Taiwan at the same time as the SELETS Seminar.

Dr. Michael Baden, M.D. graciously accepted our invitation to keynote our seminar on June 1, 2010. Dr. Baden is no stranger to SELETS having presented to our group in the past. Baden is a board-certified forensic pathologist who currently serves as Co-Director of the New York State Medico Legal Investigation Unit in addition to pursuing his private practice.

In his 40 year career, Dr. Baden has been involved as an expert in many cases of international renown including the examination of the remains of Czar Nicholas and his family, the death of John Belushi, the autopsy of civil rights leader Medgar Evers, and the autopsies of victims of TWA Flight 800.  For 25 years he worked in the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in New York City, two of them as Chief Medical Examiner.  Dr. Baden is the author of “Unnatural Death:  Confessions of a Medical Examiner” as well as “Dead Reckoning:  The New Science of Catching Killers”, and for the past several years has been the host of the popular HBO television show ‘Autopsy’.  SELETS is proud and pleased to have Dr. Baden return to this seminar.
